Today, my Aunt Connie came home from work with a massive bag full of amazing-smelling fish and chips from my favourite chippie, Richards. I've been there before and I love it! It's a family business. It's a lovely cafe, very light and the staff are so friendly! It's small and sweet, and has donation pots at the front desk to help all sorts of people, including the people who catch the fish they cook! As soon as you walk in you get this stunning whiff of fish and chips.
Richards don't just sell fish and chips, they have a varied selection including a child menu which I don't order off but it is nice to know they have one. They also do homemade specials. The batter was nice and light, the fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were delightful, and my aunt said that the sausage was beautiful and very well priced. If you order in the cafe to take out, they usually let you take a seat, unless they are busy. The service at the cafe is enough to bring you back. I would totally recommend Richards to a friend.
