About Jessie

Jessie Foodie

Jessie was born in Riverview to proud parents, Person and Guy. They were not well cared for as children but they were sure this would not affect how Jessie was brought up. Shortly after, her mum was diagnosed with postnatal depression. Unfortunately her dad was upset by this and left her. Since this her mum has been permanently depressed. On her fourteenth birthday, Jessie was making her mum a special meal. She then realised she had a passion for cooking and food. The next thing she knew was her mother was screaming and has remained in a care home ever since. Making an effort to see her as much as possible, supporting her as well as she could.  Occasionally her dad makes an effort to visist too. This brings me to now, when teen Jessie lives with her aunt and dog Bessie in Torbay, reviewing the food there.  By Connie Foodie, Jessie's aunt
